SHT3x - offers a range of new features, such as enhanced signal processing, two distinctive and user-selectable I2C addresses, an alert mode with programmable humidity and temperature limits, and communication speeds of up to 1 MHz. SHT3x in comparison with his predecessors has much more range of supply volatge.

SHT2x – the resolution of the SHT2x humidity sensor can be changed on command (8/12 bit up to 12/14 bit for RH/T) and a checksum helps to improve communication reliability.

SHTC1 – The operating voltage of 1.8 V and an energy budget below 1 µJ per measurement make the SHTC1 suitable for mobile or wireless applications running on the lowest power budgets.

SHT7x – The easy replaceability and low power consumption make the SHT7x humidity sensor series the ultimate choice for even the most demanding applications.

SHTW1 – The operating voltage of 1.8 V and the low power consumption make the SHTW2 humidity sensor suitable for wearable applications running on the tightest power budgets.

SHT1x (including SHT10, SHT11 and SHT15) is a family of sensors designed for combined temperature and relative humidity measurements. The sensors offer outstanding performance, high reliability, excellent stability and insensitivity to external disturbances (EMC). Besides a humidity and a temperature sensor the chip contains an amplifier, A/D converter and a serial interface. The sensor output can be connected directly to all kinds of microcontrollers without the need for signal processing.

The sensors can measure temperatures from -40°C to +125°C with ±0.3°C accuracy at –25°C (SHT15) and the measuring humidity range is 0 to 100%RH with a maximum accuracy of ±2% over the range of 10%RH to 90%RH (SHT15). The resolution of the sensor is user-configurable to 8 or 12 bits for humidity and 12 or 14 bits for temperature (corresponding to 0.4%RH or 0.05%RH for humidity and 0.04°C or 0.01°C for temperature respectively).

Each SHT1x is individually calibrated and the calibration coefficients are programmed into an OTP memory on the chip. Digital communication between the sensor and a master device runs via the standard I2C-interface. The sensors operate from a single 2.4V to 5.5V supply and typically consume 90µW at 3.3V supply and one 12-bit measurement per second. They are housed in a surface-mountable LCC (Leadless Chip Carrier) package of a 7.5x5mm mounting surface.
