ST202EBTR interface chip from STMicroelectronics

Micros offer has been extended with the ST202EBTR interface chip from STMicroelectronics.

This device has two controllers and two receivers designed for communication in difficult conditions. Each transmitter output and input is protected against electrostatic discharge up to ± 15 kV. The controllers meet the EIA / TIA-232E and CCITT V.28 standards at data transmission rates up to 230 kbps. ST202EBTR uses a single 5V supply voltage.

Compared to similar solutions, it is characterized by low cost and small size, which translates into more space on the circuit board. Works at temperatures from -40°C to + 85°C.
