Cixi Dafa Precise Linker is a Chinese manufacturer of industrial connectors (on the market since 1990). Brand specializes in circular connectors. Dafa produces 5 million connectors per year, and their product portfolio includes 180 items. Linear connectors
Linear connectors are rectangular and have two parts: male with pin contacts and female with circular pinch pins. These elements are intended mainly for connecting functional blocks constituting devices, connecting peripheral elements, leading out signal lines outside the casing. Linear connectors are also used to connect printed boards with each other into multi-module structures, for mounting overlay boards or expansion cards. They typically contain from one to three rows. Non-standard ones, are adapted for mounting on a PCB or for soldering a cable. After fastening, the housing elements are secured with stabilizing screws or the restoration halves slide over each other and snap into a fixed position. The Dafa Linker product range includes mainly straight and angular versions, but apart from these typical solutions, there are also hybrid connectors, where one housing contains signal, coaxial and power pins. The pins of the connectors are gold-plated to ensure connection reliability. A variation of the connector are the popular D-Sub versions, where the plastic part of the connector containing the pins has been rebuilt with an oval metal clamp. These are typical signal solutions for connecting peripherals devices.
Round push-pull connectors
Round connectors with a push-pull locking system are one of the most popular solutions of connecting elements for professional use. They have a strong metal casing in a panel-to-cable or cable-to-cable version. The first type consists of a socket fitted to the faceplate and a plug, the second is a symmetrical structure and both parts are similar. A distinctive feature of these elements is a click system which connects the two parts during insertion, so that they are mechanically connected and at the same time can be released by pressing it again.
The connectors have a strain relief for the cable, coloured markings to indicate correct position, a knurled housing (which ensure a secure grip) and no hand slip during assembly. The push-pull latches are solid and made of metal, which ensures many assembly cycles without damage. Selected versions are hermetic, have a waterproof construction and a protective cover to protect the pins from water and dust when they are disconnected. Typically, these elements are adapted for mounting the cable by soldering or crimping, with from one to 6 pins arranged centrally in a housing with a diameter of 12-24 mm.
The back of the connector contains a cable clamp, a gland and a strain relief for a cable made of flexible plastic. Typical examples of use are e.g. industrial automation systems, test devices, motor drives and drivers, data transmission devices, data recording devices, telemetry devices, robots, measuring instruments. In areas like this, the mechanically robust housing ensures high mechanical durability, environmental resistance and operation in a wide temperature range. The offer includes 12 groups of these products (B, K, S, C, J, XR, XQ, etc.), in each group are a few versions to choose from.
Flange Mount Circular Connectors
Another group of products are circular connectors with a flange fastening system. In this system, the socket and plug slide over each other and twist. The fastening takes place thanks to the groove milled on the housing of the socket, in which the guide head (located in the plug) moves. Otherwise the attachment, the connectors are similar to the previously described push-pull versions. The bayonet mounting system ensures a safe and stable mounting of the halves, which allows us to offer versions with a higher pin packing (up to 30), combined versions (thin signal pins and thick power pins). There are also all-metal versions (including a cable strain relief made in the form of a spring and a gland), with angular lead out of the connector, and versions for crimping. Connectors of this type are popular in the aviation and military segment. The offer includes these elements under the symbols YSM, Y2W, Y, Q, FQ, XK, CA, RM, etc.

The threaded connection ensures the highest mechanical stability and clamping force of both halves. It is also the best solution for applications where the equipment is transported, operated by random people, exposed to strokes and careless treatment. In this case, the twisted parts of the connector protect the connecting part with the pins and the insulation against damage/dirt.

The available assortment of connectors, versions and accessories (plugs, grommets, number of pins) are very similar to the flange versions. The main difference is in how the position of the male and female parts of the joint is stabilized. Housing in this version has a characteristic matt black or dark green galvanized surface, commercial versions are also made of light passivated. Exemplary types are TR12, PCN, FUS, MS, PB, CX.
