The Arduino MEGA2560 - a board designed for more ambitious projects requiring additional pins and extra memory.
If you have already taken your first steps in electronics and your project is more advanced, the Arduino MEGA2560 is worth considering. It is a new model, the successor to the Arduino MEGA. It is based on the ATmega2560 microcontroller, which has significantly more memory. It features 54 digital I/O pins, of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs. It has 16 analog inputs, 4 UART interfaces, a 16-megahertz crystal oscillator, USB and power connectors, as well as ICSP pins and a reset button.
The board is recommended for 3D printer projects and robotics applications. It provides substantial capabilities. To start working with the Arduino MEGA2560, you simply need to connect the board to a computer via USB or power it using a separate power supply or battery. Additionally, the board is compatible with most expansion modules for Arduino UNO.
