TEFLON-BASED NON-FATTY LUBRICANT AND ANTI-STICK AGENT

The main ingredient of KONTAFLON 85 is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) particles, which provide non-fat lubrication. It is useful wherever non-fat or oil-free products are required. KONTAFLON 85 creates an invisible, wax-like coating.

PROPERTIES

• The surface coated with KONTAFLON 85 retains the properties characteristic of polytetrafluoroethylene:

- Repels water
- Dries completely
- Does not stain or grease
- Non-conductive
- Resistant to temperatures from -50°C to 260°C
- Non-flammable after solvent evaporation

• Has high adhesiveness due to the low amount of binder.
• Serves as an optimal alternative to mineral oils when cleanliness, colorlessness, and non-greasy lubricants are required.

APPLICATION

• Excellent for lubricating moving surfaces, reducing friction and load on cooperating parts in industries such as electronics, electromechanics, furniture, textiles, paper, automotive, plastics, and rubber.
