Detailed description

PVB 60 Coating
Universal coating for printed circuit boards.

Fast-drying transparent PVB coating with good insulating properties. It protects printed circuit boards and other components from corrosion, especially those operating under harsh environmental conditions. The coating also safeguards boards from stray currents and short circuits. In serial production lines, the coating can be applied by brush, dipping, or spraying. If the mixture is too thick for spraying equipment, it can be thinned using a solvent. Exact ingredient ratios should be determined individually. The product must be properly stored as the coating is prone to cross-linking.

Properties:

  • Forms a protective and insulating layer that shields against environmental influences such as moisture, oxidation, dust, and chemical contamination;
  • Adheres well to metal, plastic, and wood surfaces;
  • Creates a coating resistant to diluted acids, alkalis, and environmental factors; Soldering through the coating is possible;
  • Prevents sparking and corona discharges;
  • Limits breakdown between tracks;
  • Maintains transparency and flexibility even over long periods;
  • Operating temperature range: from -40°C to +60°C. Working temperature: from -50°C to +150°C. Flash point: 380°C.
