RBS07 is a cost-effective mercury-free sensor solution designed for detecting a 45° tilt across a full 360° range, as well as for detecting an object's "upside-down" position. The sensor functions as a normally closed switch, which opens its contacts when a tilt occurs within the range of 30° to 60°. It provides durability of 100,000 electrical cycles and 1,000,000 mechanical cycles. The contact load is 10mA/5VDC, with a contact impedance of 10Ω max, insulation resistance of 50MΩ min. @ 100VDC, and a dielectric strength of 50VDC for 1 minute. It is produced in a through-hole or surface mount package, available in versions suited for horizontally or vertically oriented PCB layouts.
