RBS07 is a cost-effective, mercury-free sensor designed to detect a 45° tilt over a full 360° range, as well as to detect the "upside-down" position of an object. The sensor acts as a normally closed switch, whose contacts open when the tilt falls within the range of 30° ... 60°. It provides durability of 100,000 electrical cycles and 1,000,000 mechanical cycles. The contact rating is 10mA/5VDC, with a contact impedance of 10Ω max, insulation resistance of 50MΩ min. @ 100VDC, and dielectric strength of 50VDC for 1 minute. It is produced in a package suitable for through-hole or surface-mount installation, available in versions designed for horizontally or vertically oriented PCBs.
