R4010A1 - Ultrasonic sensor operating on radar principles by emitting an ultrasonic wave and receiving the wave reflected from an encountered object. By measuring the time between sending and receiving the pulse, the distance from the sensor to the object can be determined. Thanks to its characteristics, it is suitable for harsh environmental conditions such as fog, steam, or dust. The material of the object does not matter, which is an undeniable advantage over optical sensors.
