The MP01611-ZK module is a ready-to-use contactless lock operating in RFID technology for UNIQUE 125kHz transponders, effectively replacing traditional access control solutions.

The lock is built based on the modern and very popular EM4095 chip from EM MICROELECTRONIC - MARIN S.A. It is designed to read Unique transponders operating at a frequency of 125kHz.

The device features an integrated antenna on the PCB, enabling the reading of transponders from a distance of 12 cm for ISO cards and Clamshell.

The lock is programmable and can cooperate with a maximum of 25 Unique keys (keys must be purchased separately).

The lock operates in two modes (selection is made by setting jumper J1 accordingly):

• bistable mode – consecutive key placements alternately turn the relay on and off,
• timed mode – placing the key turns the relay on for about 5s, after which it automatically returns to the initial state (typical operation for controlling a lock on entry doors).

Due to its versatility, low power consumption, and ease of programming and operation, the device can be used in safes, cars, computers, and entry doors to directly control electric strikes or alarm systems.

An additional advantage of the lock is its RS232 serial output (TTL standard), which enables the transmission of key codes brought near the lock (whether they have been previously programmed or not).

The output is a 10-pin IDC connector. The code of the read transponder is directly transmitted at the output (with each byte saved as 2 ASCII code digits).

The lock's operation is signaled by a LED indicator and an audible signal.
