Detailed description

MAX3485EESA+T is a high-performance RS-485/RS-422 transceiver designed for fast and reliable communication in industrial, telecommunication, and local network applications. It operates at a supply voltage range of 3.0V to 3.6V, making it an ideal solution for low-power applications.

The MAX3485EESA+T supports data transmission speeds of up to 10Mbps, and its high resistance to electromagnetic interference and built-in ±15kV ESD protection ensure reliable operation even in harsh environments. The device is also equipped with thermal shutdown and short-circuit current limiting mechanisms, enhancing its reliability and protecting it from overheating.

The MAX3485EESA+T operates in half-duplex mode, enabling alternating data transmission and reception on a single line. With the ability to connect up to 32 devices on a single bus, it facilitates the construction of complex communication systems. The transceiver supports common-mode voltages in the range of -7V to +12V, providing resilience to potential differences in transmission lines.
