Detailed description
ESP-WROOM-02 is a low-cost and fully functional WiFi module based on the ESP8266 chip provided by the chip manufacturer – ESPRESSIF. It operates in the 802.11 b/g/n standard on the 2.4 GHz frequency. It is equipped with an internal antenna. It has 18 pins in a 2 mm pitch:

The module also features a protective screen covering the chip. The external dimensions of the ESP-WROOM-02 are 18 × 20 mm. The module supports WPA / WPA2 security protocols and can operate in AP (Access Point), STA (standalone), and AP+STA modes. The ESP-WROOM-02 is dedicated to SMD mounting. Thanks to AT COMMAND support, the microprocessor is easily configurable.
