Detailed description
EC25-E is an LTE Cat. 4 module designed for M2M and IoT applications. It can download data from the fourth-generation network at speeds of up to 150Mbit/s. Data upload can occur at speeds of 50Mbit/s. A major advantage of EC25-E is its backward compatibility with older technologies such as UMTS/HSDPA+ and GPRS/EDGE. In the absence of LTE signal, the module can automatically switch to another available technology. Another benefit of the module is the presence of a GNSS signal receiver. A rich set of internet protocols, communication interfaces, and additional features (USB drivers for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1, Linux, Android/eCall) extend the module's range of applications.
