L80 is an ultra-compact GPS module with a POT (Patch on Top) design, meaning it is equipped with an integrated patch antenna (15.0x15.0x4.0mm). The L80 module is based on the L70 model and is identical to it in many respects.

It implements an advanced assistance technique (AGPS) called EASY™ (Embedded Assist System) and the proven AlwaysLocate™ technology, which helps reduce energy consumption. The Fitness Low Power (FLP) function ensures low power usage, allowing the GPS to be used in fitness applications. The module can also work with an external antenna, which it can automatically detect and disconnect, and it is equipped with an automatic antenna switching function without interrupting the positioning process. L80 is the ideal module for miniature devices. With its compact design, high precision, and sensitivity, it is perfect for various M2M applications.
