Detailed description

RXQ2-433 is a multi-channel radio transmitter and receiver module based on the nRF9E5 chip from Nordic Semiconductor. This module operates in the license-free ISM 433MHz band and features a receiver sensitivity of -100dBm and a typical transmitter output power of 10dBm. The transceiver independently handles hardware-based transmission and reception (packet preparation with checksum and preamble, address handling, etc.) using GFSK modulation and Manchester encoding. A built-in 8051 microcontroller is available for the user, offering a rich set of peripheral blocks, including ADC, PWM, UART, WDT, and RTC. Communication with a master device is managed through a UART interface with a maximum baud rate of 38.4kbaud.

Devices can operate in one of four available modes: "one to one," "one to many," "one to all," and "many to one." Additionally, each module can have its own unique address, preventing collisions when multiple modules transmit on the same frequency. Data transmission can occur at a maximum speed of 100kbps on any user-selected channel. The channel spacing is 100kHz for the 430..440MHz range. The module operates with a supply voltage ranging from 1.9V to 3.6V. The current consumption in receive mode is 12.5mA, while during transmission, current consumption rises to a maximum of 30mA. In sleep mode, the module typically consumes 125μA. The wake-up time from sleep mode and return to normal operation is 1ms. The product is available in a DIL package with dimensions of 22.86 x 20.32mm.
