The LM1084 is a high-current positive voltage regulator requiring a small difference between input and output voltage (low-dropout, LDO) – typically 1.3V, and a maximum of 1.5V for the maximum output current and across the entire operating temperature range (-40 to 125°C). The output voltage is set using an integrated resistor divider, and is 3.3V. The system is equipped with thermal and overload protection. The pinout is consistent with the LM317 regulator.
