Detailed description

Miniature linear LDO regulator 1A with a dropout voltage of 400 mV.

The TS39100 linear voltage regulator with a current output of 1A is available in two miniature package types: SOT-223 and TO-252 (D-Pak). The device operates with input voltages ranging from 2.25 to 16 V, while its input stage can withstand voltages from -20 to +20 V. It is available in versions with factory-set output voltages of 1.8, 2.5, 3.3, or 5.0 V.

The key advantages of this device include its high current density, very low dropout voltage (400 mV @ 1 A), which allows operation with very small voltage differences between input and output, and a very low quiescent current of 17 mA with an output current of 1 A.

TS39100 includes overcurrent protection, reverse polarity protection, thermal protection, and overvoltage protection.
