Kapton Tape

Kapton tape with anti-corrosive silicone adhesive (the adhesive leaves no residue after removal) can withstand very high temperatures, up to 268°C. It is offered in the form of tapes with widths ranging from a few millimeters to 500 mm or in shapes cut from sheets. Kapton tapes are characterized by high dielectric strength up to 6000V, covered with silicone adhesive that leaves no residue and is resistant to chemicals, corrosion, moisture, UV, and aging. The tape can also come in an antistatic ESD option, has excellent electro-insulating properties, and a flame-retardant class H rating (non-flammable).


Characteristics of Kapton Self-Adhesive Tapes

Kapton tapes have silicone adhesive that is resistant to corrosive factors, chemicals, and high temperatures, and the adhesive leaves no residue after removal. Kapton tape effectively protects electronic circuits and components from overheating or damage during soldering.
