Detailed description
The BCR402U circuit is a relatively simple and cost-effective solution for current sources designed to drive low-power LEDs. The output current value (up to 65mA) can be adjusted using an external resistor. It is also possible to increase the output current by using an external transistor (a so-called "booster"). The low voltage drop across the controller minimizes energy losses. Additionally, the circuits feature a negative temperature coefficient – as the temperature rises, the output current decreases, protecting the LEDs from thermal overload.
