The DS1813 circuit is used for monitoring the supply voltage drop in 5V-powered microprocessor systems. If the supply voltage drops below a preset threshold value, the circuit will trigger a reset of the microprocessor, preventing it from continuing improper operation. The delay time from exceeding the threshold value to the activation of the RESET signal is a maximum of 5µs. When the supply voltage returns to the appropriate level, the circuit releases the RESET signal after about 150ms, allowing the microprocessor to stabilize before normal operation.
The DS1813 circuit also has the option to manually reset the microprocessor using an external button. After releasing the button, the RESET signal is maintained in the active state for an additional 150ms to eliminate the effects of contact bounce.
Maximum RESET signal delay time: 5µs;
RESET signal hold time: 150ms;
Operating temperature: -40÷85°C.
