The EM4095 is an integrated RFID transceiver designed to work with passive transponders from the Unique family operating with amplitude modulation at a frequency of 125kHz.
It allows reading data from Read Only transponders as well as writing to Read/Write transponders. The internal structure of the system includes a PLL phase loop block and control circuits in the transmitter section, as well as a synchronous demodulator and filtering circuits in the receiver section. To create a complete RFID reader, the EM4095 needs to be equipped with an external antenna, a microcontroller, and several passive components (no need to connect a quartz resonator).
Communication between the system and the microcontroller is achieved using 4 lines:
* DMOD_OUT - demodulated signal output
* MOD - switches the system between read and write modes
* SHD - switches the system to sleep mode
* RDY/CLK - ready flag and clock output
Key Features:
- Compatibility with transponders using EM4102, EM4200, EM4450, and EM4205/EM4305 ICs
- Modulation type: AM OOK
- Carrier frequency range: 100÷150kHz
- Current consumption in sleep mode: 1µA
- Wake-up time from sleep mode: 25ms
