Quad power amplifier of class SB-I* with high efficiency, digital inputs, and built-in diagnostic functions.
The TDA7802 amplifier is fully compatible with the Start/Stop function installed in some cars, particularly in so-called "clean" or eco-friendly vehicles.
The main advantage of the TDA7802 is its seamless operation when the voltage temporarily drops during engine startup. Another valuable feature of the offered device is its simple application, made possible by directly connecting the inputs to the audio processor. There is no need for converters or additional filters.
The TDA7802 amplifier class is SB-I, which reduces the heating of the component caused by losses by 50%, compared to other AB and D class systems. This directly translates into the possibility of using a smaller heatsink, which results in savings and allows for the inclusion of more components in the final device design.
The TDA7802 can deliver 4x50W of power when driving 4Ω speakers, but it can also drive speakers with an impedance of 1Ω. It has an SNR of 115dB, and a dynamic range of 110dB. Additionally, all protections are supported by the built-in diagnostic system.
Available in PowerSO36 or FlexiWatt27 packages.
* Class SB-I is an improved version of class SB.
