In other words, setting a washing machine program, turning on given operating mode in a power tool, or changing the volume or brightness settings in the television, sends a signal to a microcontroller. Then, in a microcontroller, a conversion of the signal takes place, which results in a reaction of sending the signal further in an appropriate direction.
